Knitted Jumpers I Have A Hand Knitted Jumper Thats Too Big, Can I Shrink It?

I have a hand knitted jumper thats too big, can I shrink it? - knitted jumpers

A friend told me a bridge for my birthday but really too big and I wonder whether there's a way to reduce it? Perhaps by immersion in boiling water? Any suggetions? I appriciate my friend knitted for me, and in addition to being great that I really like!

It depends on what kind of yarn they used. If you are reduced wool and wool. If it is a blend of wool or not, can not escape.

Even if it is wool, a proposed reduction is not reliable, and there is no guarantee of clothing to the proportions that will reduce you.

Is it possible that you can change by the usual methods of sewing? An arrow or meeting here and there?
Take it with a belt? If you have a photo taken after the bridge, which can help advise people.

Good luck

Shrink wool .... Cooking wool, but it's always going on! it would be better to ask a friend to this point whether they have a small knit for you and someone taller than you! or save it until you are pregnant or overweight!
